Press Release: 16-February-2010 Stephen Zarzecki announces his intention to run for election to the Cutler Bay Town Council, Seat One. "I feel that I can bring a diligent and analytical approach to the Council, and assist in achieving what the people of Cutler Bay expect from their local government" says Mr. Zarzecki. Mr. Zarzecki is a retired Electronic Design Engineer. A lifelong resident of Miami-Dade County, and a third generation south Floridian, he is a strong advocate of environmental issues and believes that properly controlled growth must not compromise the quality and character of the community. He has no prior political experience. "As a retiree, I can be more than a part-time Councilmember", he says, "I believe that the Council must be assertive in fulfilling its duty to set policy that truly represents the needs, desires, and vision of the people of Cutler Bay." "When elected, I will work to ensure that the best interests of the citizens of Cutler Bay are given top priority.
